You can wear them long or fold them down to wear them short. Chanel identifies them as navy color, but Chanel's navy is often interchangeable with black.
If you wear them up, they reach halfway to the elbow, or fold them down into a cuff which has a metal oval showing that says "Chanel Paris". There is a 4" section around the palm area which is soft leather, the rest is ribbed cashmere.
